About the role

We are currently seeking an IT Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic team in Brisbane on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Support the issuing of new and replacement IT equipment, including communication devices, computer and printing/photocopier devices to the business.
  • Provide assistance with administrative procurement process for IT equipment and software purchases with vendors,
  • Preparation of monthly billing and reconciliation of spending against budget.
  • Assisting with a range of accounting and purchasing activities; purchase orders, invoices and EFT's. 
  • Monitor and maintain a centralised database of the companies’ computer assets in ServiceNow.  
  • Manage inboxes and allocate tasks.
  • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with the client quality requirement and Australian standards/codes.

About you

  • Experience in administration support or IT administration would be advantageous.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Outlook and Excel packages.
  • Experience in COINS and ServiceNow system desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to details.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a can-do attitude and be solutions driven.
