About the role:

We’re looking for an Employee and Industrial Relations (EIR) Advisor to join our team based in our Southbank and Southeast Suburb offices. This is your opportunity to join a privately-owned Tier 1 constructor and International Engineering Enterprise.

As an EIR Advisor, reporting to the Head of Employee and Industrial Relations – Project Delivery, you will be responsible for providing industrial and employee relations advice across several projects in Victoria, ensuring compliance and a harmonious work environment with minimal disruptions due to industrial and employee relations issue. The role will also be required to work regularly from site offices in the Southeast suburbs.

Your focus will include:

  • Engage proactively with union stakeholders
  • Provide timely EIR advice on issues that may impact project delivery activities
  • Supporting the delivery and implementation of project IR strategies 
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with the Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements, and relevant Awards
  • Contribute to the delivery of smooth, disruption-free project outcomes

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Relations, Law, or a related discipline
  • Prior experience in industrial relations within construction or a similar environment will be highly regarded.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
