About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Hardware Asset Manager to join our high-preforming team based in Brisbane.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the efficiency of procurement, deployment, lifecycle management, asset tracking, vendor engagement and cost control across both business-as-usual operations and project requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of IT hardware procurement, deployment, support, decommissioning, and disposal
  • Managing hardware refresh programs and lifecycle planning
  • Coordinating hardware requirements for business projects and large-scale rollouts
  • Managing vendor relationships, contract renewals, SLAs, escalations and commercial discussions
  • Processing of financial transactions in our ERP system
  • Monitoring hardware spend and identifying cost optimisation opportunities
  • Producing monthly reporting on asset numbers, stock levels, and project allocations
  • Supporting security compliance requirements in collaboration with IT and Security teams

About you

  • Experience in the management of a large and varied hardware fleet is a must.
  • Experience in IT hardware or asset management
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience in COINS system desirable but not mandatory 
  • Experience in the mobile communication field or IT administration would be advantageous.
  • Previous time in the construction industry would be beneficial
  • Involvement in a culture that extols the virtues of high performing teams
