You will be working with the Advisory team and broader business to engage with infrastructure owners, developers, and managers to optimise infrastructure delivery performance, leveraging Laing O’Rourke’s industry-leading delivery expertise. You will work with our clients to help build long-term relationships and solve the most complex problems in infrastructure delivery to drive a lasting impact across the industry.

Your Impact

As an Analyst, you will work closely with Advisory colleagues and delivery and engineering specialists to understand and solve client problems. Day-to-day tasks include:

How You'll Grow

This role is for ambitious problem-solvers who are comfortable with ambiguity and want the pace and breadth of advisory work with direct exposure to large and complex infrastructure-based organisations. You can expect:

  • Daily coaching and mentoring from industry experts across advisory, engineering, and delivery
  • Exposure to national, sector-shaping infrastructure programs where recommendations are tested in real-time
  • Internal growth opportunities as you begin to own discrete workstreams and development of client-facing deliverables
  • Pathways to broader roles across strategic planning, business transformation, and commercial and program management

What You'll Bring

  • Undergraduate and/or Masters degree (preferably in an analytical field such as engineering, finance, economics, science, etc.) with outstanding academic achievement and extracurricular involvement
  • 2-3 years of relevant Advisory experience with infrastructure-based clients, such as energy, transport, water, health, aviation, and resources
  • Strong logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and creative thinking
