About the role

We are currently seeking a Traffic Supervisor for a major infrastructure project in Melbourne. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate subcontractor teams, ensuring full compliance with Laing O’Rourke’s health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Oversee all traffic management activities, ensuring works align with approved designs, road safety plans and audits.
  • Identify, review and resolve traffic and transport issues, delivering practical and innovative solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain clear communication on traffic matters.
  • Collaborate with project controls, planning and delivery teams to maintain effective traffic management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to weekly and monthly project reporting.

 

About You

You are an experienced Traffic Supervisor with a proven background on large-scale road projects. You bring strong leadership skills and hands-on experience managing complex, high-volume traffic environments with demanding technical and logistical requirements.
