We also build meaningful careers and inclusive workplaces where people thrive. Backed by global strength and deep local roots, our unique operating model combines cutting-edge technology with modern methods of construction to deliver certainty for clients and transform how infrastructure is engineered and built.

That’s the Power of Experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of all travel requirements for Laing O’Rourke personnel using approved systems and processes
  • Ensure travel itineraries are accurate, confirmed, compliant with policy, and distributed in a timely manner
  • Independently manage travel‑related email and phone enquiries, applying judgement to resolve issues within established guidelines
  • Liaise with AMEX GBT to resolve booking queries, amendments, cancellations, and service issues
  • Work closely with remote and metropolitan project teams, Executive Assistants to influence best‑practice travel behaviours and effective use of travel spend and credits
  • Analyse travel data to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that support improved efficiency, compliance, and traveller experience
  • Identify, escalate, and contribute to the resolution of travel system or technology issues, recommending enhancements where appropriate
  • Support project travel spend reporting and participate in travel expense audits
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the travel function and broader People Services environment
  • Provide general administrative support where required

You will have

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a travel‑related role, ideally in a high‑volume environment
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook) and fast, accurate data entry
  • Skilled in working with travel data and basic analytics, including identifying booking trends, spotting anomalies, and highlighting insights to improve efficiency and compliance
  • A proactive approach to improving the travel experience through technology, process efficiency, and traveller education
  • The ability to professionally uphold the Travel Policy while seeking or supporting reasonable exemptions when appropriate
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi‑task and re‑prioritise in a fast‑paced environment
  • A diplomatic yet persistent approach to building effective working relationships
