About the role

We are currently seeking a Solutions Delivery Lead for our AI-driven intelligence services business. The position could be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

In this role, you will lead client engagements from initiation through delivery to deliver high-quality, data-driven insights that transform project outcomes. You will operate as a trusted advisor to clients whilst coordinating with internal technical specialists to solve complex projects in construction, mining, and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 2–3 concurrent client engagements independently
• Act as the primary client contact and trusted advisor to senior executives and steering committees.
• Lead client-facing conversations with confidence, independently running workshops, presenting optimisation insights, and solving complex buildability challenges with minimal supervision.
• Translate complex technical and analytical inputs into clear, decision-ready insights and executive recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-functional Akordi teams to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned to client objectives.
• Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and issues, ensuring delivery against agreed commitments.
• Support business growth through contribution to proposals, pitches, and scoping of new opportunities.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of Akordi’s service offerings, methodologies, and reusable assets.

About you

• 10 years of relevant working experience as a Project Manager, or equivalent level, leading client engagements independently
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences (and engage with senior executives and steering committees)
• Strong experience in business analysis within technical environments.
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of delivery—from scoping and discovery through to final solution delivery and recommendations.
• Experience leading complex, multidisciplinary projects within Australia’s construction, infrastructure, or mining sectors.
• Background in engineering, technical services, or a closely related discipline.
