About the role

Laing O’Rourke are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to work in their pylon’s team and form a key part of our iconic public infrastructure project located South of Perth in Western Australia.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities of the project to ensure that project plans are implemented in accordance with designs and specifications.
  • Interpret, review and improve existing designs for implementation in construction of the project.
  • Establish, implement and ensure compliance to the project’s procurement strategy.
  • Assist with preparation of site construction budgets and reports.
  • Produce work packs and scopes of work.
  • Ensure all other tasks and duties as directed by your line manager are completed.
  • Observe safe systems of work relevant to your work area and report potential hazards and environmental risks.

 You will have:

  • A degree in civil engineering.
  • Experience with pylons (highly desirable).
  • A high performer who is proactive, reliable and flexible.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong problem solving, organisational and communication skills.
  • A high attention to detail.
