About the role

We are currently seeking Site Engineer- Civils for the Byford Rail Extension project in Perth, WA. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and sequence construction activities, track costs and manage subcontractors
  • Interface with the design management and construction delivery team 
  • Assisting with design process coordination
  • Planning and programming requirements for assigned work packages within a designated area to ensure construction activities are delivered safely and in accordance with client cost, time, quality and scope requirements
  • Quality and surveying 
  • Adhering to Laing O'Rourke's safety policies and procedures

About you

  • Previous experience in a site engineer role
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with managing contractor models 
  • Working with a tier 1 or 2 contractors would be beneficial
  • Previous experience working on rail projects is highly desirable but not essential.
