About the role

Laing O’Rourke has recently been appointed as Managing Contractor for the Initial Works and Early Works package of Suburban Rail Loop; the huge package of works includes preparing sites for the launch of tunnel boring machines, moving and protecting underground services, ground improvement, geotechnical investigations and roads modifications for this city-shaping project.

We are currently seeking a  Site Engineer  Specialising in HV/Power/Electrical to join the iconic Suburban Rail Loop project. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

 

Key responsibilities

As a Site Engineer, you will:

  • Assist with the preparation of site paperwork including SWMS, ITPs etc
  • Assist with the preparation of engineering and site delivery programmes 
  • Assist site supervision with the co-ordination of construction works
  • Perform technical engineering requirements such as design validation, review and implementation.
  • Provide leadership team with site reports and track progress of programme
  • Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are being met on site

 

About you

You will hold a relevant Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) and have experience working in HV / Substations / Power / Electrical  on Infrastructure projects
