About the role

We are currently seeking a Senior Planning and Project Control Engineer for our Transport for Tomorrow project based in Sydney.

The purpose of this role is to provide and implement an advanced level of support to the planning and project controls process and best practice on projects.

This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Resource management including staff development
  • Compliance with process and best practice 
  • Execute time-related issues in the contract
  • Assist in the development of programmes throughout all project stages
  • Integrate 3D CAD models and programmes
  • Maintain programme and other time related material that ensure that the sequence and timing of all operations considered/optimised for the successful project completion within the required time constraints
  • Understand, communicate the sequence of activities that are critical for the delivery of the project; and the consequences of not completing other planned activities
  • Implementation of robust Project Controls and accurate reporting and forecasting

About you

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or Construction Management or equivalent
  • Experience using Microsoft office, Navisworks, PRISMG2 and Primavera P6.
  • Intermediate project planning delivery experience and exposure to low/medium size complexity projects
  • Knowledge of delay analysis techniques
  • Experience in leading planning and project controls teams
  • Developing knowledge of strategic planning and project/programme management systems
  • Able to apply integrated project/programme controls on advanced and complex projects and programme.
