About the role
We are currently seeking an Engineering Leader in Adelaide, and this Expression of Interest is your opportunity to position yourself for future roles delivering complex, career-defining work alongside some of the industry's best talent.

Key responsibilities 

  • Works closely with the Project Director/Leader and Functional Leaders, from early engagement through to the point of technical completion. Acts as Project Technical Leader.
  • Develops an integrated technical solution, which aligns with and enables the implementation of the project execution plan and build.
  • Adopts a strategic approach providing advice, leadership, and advocacy, ensuring client objectives always remain in focus. Engages SME network across sectors and projects to support project design and delivery.
  • Acts as SME for relevant discipline.
  • Delivers the technical elements of the project monthly reporting into forums as necessary.
  • Technical reviews of programmes (e.g. review of design development/approval timeframes, value engineering and delivery solution workshops and implementation of solutions, temporary work requirements)


About you 

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience with minimum 5 years demonstrable experience in site delivery of major projects involving design and construction.
  • Degree in technical base subject.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in associated discipline; civils and structures or mechanical, electrical and plumbing or rail systems.
  • Demonstrated collaborative working with clients, across business units and with our delivery partners (JVs, subcontractors, consultants) sharing knowledge.
  • Eligibility to obtain an NV1 security clearance is a requirement for this position.
