About the role

We are currently seeking a Digital Standards and Enablement Specialist. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

You will play a key part in the successful delivery of our Digital transformation programme by working collaboratively, developing, and managing the associated deliverables & accountabilities as follows:

  • Support the development and implementation of digital minimal standards in the business, driving consistency in digital delivery across project teams incorporating both current digital disciplines (Digital engineering, information management and geospatial systems) as well as future digital capabilities (e.g. advanced design optioneering solutions)
  • Mentor and coach project teams and digital teams on the value and imperative of working to a consistent digital baseline
  • Communicate the requirements and value of the Digital Minimum Standards initiative across LOR functional and project teams through the development of presentations, multimedia and workshops
  • Understand the principles and systems of model-based engineering and model-first approach, as well as the value of digital in the construction process
  • Work to ensure current and new digital practices meet our minimum requirements and standards, alongside compliance with sector/regional/hub specific statutory requirements
  • Working with the broader AU and EU Digital teams, create and nurture a ‘being digital’ operating philosophy through institution of digital standards into critical business processes, that supports the enduring conditions of transformation
  • Collaborate across business functions to ensure our approach results in projects (or products) which meet the brief and satisfy technical, quality and programme requirements
  • Providing assurance and enabling teams to deliver client digital requirements

About you

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Business Analyst or Consultant role, preferably in multidisciplinary consulting practice
  • Senior-level experience in Digital Engineering, Engineering Strategy, or a similar role in the construction industry
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, management, and partnering skills with demonstrated ability to influence & gain credibility with project teams and senior business stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of model-based engineering and its value in the construction process
  • Strong consulting and problem-solving toolkit, with a curiosity and drive to challenge the status quo
  • A strong understanding on the relevancy and criticality of policy and procedures, as it relates to digital in construction
  • Balanced analytical and creative mindset that strives to makes the complex simple, and brings clarity to ambiguity;
  • Strong project and program management skills;
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
