About the role

We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Select Plant Australia team in Perth, WA. This permanent role offers great career prospects with one of the largest specialist plant hire businesses in Australia.

In this role, you will actively find new customers, strategically understand their business needs and develop innovative solutions offerings. The successful candidate will have strong client relationships, focusing on communication, development, and opportunities to be successful in revenue growth.

 Key responsibilities

  • Create awareness of the Select Plant Australia brand amongst potential clients and broader market.
  • Actively pursue all new business / sales leads and opportunities.
  • Manage face to face time with key clients and ongoing interactions with key accounts throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Develop and present tender submissions and quotations.
  • Providing market intelligence with regards to business trends, and business development opportunities in the region.
  • Proactively work towards achieving KPI’s and targets set by the business.

About you

  • Advanced sales and business experience.
  • Account management.
  • Relevant tertiary experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • A high level of motivation and enthusiasm.
