About the role

We are looking for expressions of interest from QC Inspectors with SMP experience to work on a resources project based in the Albany Region of Western Australia. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, this role will operate on a FIFO or DIDO basis.

 

Key responsibilities

Work closely with the engineering team to ensure inspections are carried out in accordance with approved inspection and test plans, whilst ensuring the quality requirements / specifications for the project are adhered to. You will also assist with the implementation of the Project Quality Management Plan and assist with verifying compliance of the works. You will be involved with consumable and weld traceability, NDT Coordination, audits, NCR reviews and close out of MDR documentation.

 

You will have

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a relevant recognised qualification as well as CSWIP and/or WTIA welding certifications, and will have proven experience working with a Tier 1 Constructor across SMP projects in Australia. You will have a high attention to detail, strong communication skills and be proactive in your approach to work.
