About the role

We are currently seeking an Application Developer to join our Australian hub IT Team in Brisbane, QLD. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Reporting to the Application Development Manager, in this position you be part of a team tasked with developing, enhancing and supporting a range of solutions developed using very current technologies across many different functions within the business. The main purpose of this role is to design, code and troubleshoot software applications using C# and TypeScript.

Key responsibilities

• Writing high-quality code using C# and TypeScript (.NET Core and React)
• Writing unit tests / integration tests
• Understanding business requirements and how they translate to application features
• Collaborating with application development team, business analysts and product owners and other key stakeholders
• Testing source code and debugging code
• Updating documentation

About you

• Experience developing ASP.NET Core REST APIs using C#
• Experience with ReactJS (Function Components)
• Experience working with Entity Framework, SQL Server, T-SQL and GraphQL
• Experience developing solutions for Azure PaaS
• Experience with building React component libraries and Nuget packages
