About the role

We are currently seeking a Track Senior Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations team based in Telarah, NSW (Hunter Valley region).

This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

 

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for planning and sequencing of construction activities, tracking costs, subcontractor management, interface with design management and construction delivery team whilst at all times adhering to Laing O'Rourke's safety policies & procedures.

 

About you

You will have a relevant engineering degree combined with significant experience in Perm Way Construction on large scale civil/rail projects, ideally in Australia. You will have extensive delivery experience of common railway installation & maintenance tasks such as below:

  • Maintenance works such as rerailing, resleepering, Track reconditioning, Transoming & other common maintenance works.
  • Track Slab and Fixed Track Construction
  • Turnouts & Special Trackwork Installation
  • Design Management experience progressing from concept design to AFC
  • Manage a team of Engineers/Supervisors & Blue-Collar staff to ensure successful delivery of works
  • Demonstrated experience in Client and stakeholder management
