About the role

We are currently seeking a Safety and Training Administrator to join Laing O'Rourke on our new iconic civil infrastructure project in Canterbury , NSW. This permanent, full-time role offers exciting career opportunities in joining a people-centric,  privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide all round administrative support to the Health and Safety Team
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting 
  • Monitor employee and subcontractor compliance on the HSE system
  • Assist with onsite safety requirements, such as SWMS, Toolbox talks, and internal safety audits when required
  • Manage PPE requirements for all onsite personnel 
  • Assist with coordination of training requirements 

About you

  • Previous experience working in a site based safety administration role
  • Desire to develop and advance your career in HSE
  • Qualification related to HSE or working towards one is desirable but not mandatory
  • Understanding of current health and safety legislation,  procedures, processes, and best practices
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
