About the role

We are currently seeking a experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to join Select Plant Australia in Sydney. This permanent role offers great career prospects with one of the largest specialist plant hire businesses in Australia.

This role suits a hands-on IT allrounder with a start-up mentality. You will work with a small team of business systems support specialists to support Select’s users of business systems with queries, training and issue resolution, while effectively communicating issues, resolutions and changes to management and across the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure Select users are capable and competent in the use of all business systems through the provision of training, documentation and competency tracking.
  • Resolve systems issues in a timely and effective manner, working collaboratively with corporate IT to escalate issues for resolution by application specialists or with system vendors.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with business stakeholders in relation to issue resolution, change management and capability tracking.
  • Effectively communicate business and technical requirements to a broad range of stakeholders. 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance business operations through the adoption of additional system features, enhanced training or changes to business processes.
  • Maintain success metrics to monitor and communicate the performance of business systems and support desk resource planning.
  • Ensure new vendor compliance with the relevant LOR Group IT policies and are integrated through the IT governance framework.
  • Be familiar with the terms of negotiated enterprise and service level agreements, and ensure they are upheld. Ensure pricing and issue resolution are compliant with agreed terms of service.
  • Generate detailed functional requirements to support systems procurement activities.
  • Provide input to the development of enterprise agreements and service level agreements with strategic systems vendors.

About you

  • 5+ years of IT systems support or application support specialist in a finance, enterprise resourcing, or field services platform.
  • Preferred experience in a construction or construction-equipment organization
  • Experience with COINS, MS Power Platform looked on favourably.
  • Strong project manager with effective time management
