About the role

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a Rail Commissioning Manager to join our Rail Operations division in WA.

Based in the Albany region this role will primarily be a FIFO or DIDO role on a family friendly roster.

Rail Operations is an internal Business unit within Laing O’Rourke, specialising in the sole delivery of all aspects of Rail, working with a team of technical experts to deliver a high portfolio of work across Western Australia.   

Key responsibilities

• Ensure that the project fully implement the requirements of the LORAC Safety Management System and provide the leadership for the Behavioural Based Safety initiative.
• Lead the planning, delivery and integration of Testing, Commissioning, Entry into Service and Asset Acceptance of all project elements including civils, track, OLE, electrical, signalling, communications and operational technology
• Ensure all related project documentation is developed and approved for each discipline
• Ensure all works are undertaken safely and as per relevant standards and specifications
• Ensure all resources are deemed competent for the task they undertake
• Interface with both internal and external stakeholders

About you

• Previous experience in a similar role (highly preferable)
• Individual discipline Testing & Commissioning experience (highly preferable)
• Local domain experience with PTA or Arc Infrastructure
• Working on multi-disciplined projects
