About the project

LOR Rail Operations has been awarded the CBH Moora Rail Siding & FRL Facility Upgrade Project which is part of CBH’s Program of works to expand its rail infrastructure at key receival sites, such as Moora.  The project includes the construction of a new 2km rail siding and a fast rail loading facility. 

The fast rail loading facility includes the construction of 6 large grain silos, bucket elevator, and train loading facility along with the associated structural, mechanical, and electrical scope.

About the role

We are currently seeking genuine expressions of interest from skilled civil/rail labourers for the Moora Project. 

About you

Our ideal candidate will be a safety-conscious individual, with a team-centric attitude, and experienced in performing duties that may include (but not limited to);

  • Plate compacting
  • Dewatering pump setup
  • General site housekeeping
  • Refuelling
  • Star picket flagging
  • Temp fencing
  • Work area set-up
  • Site signage   

To be considered, you will need to meet the below criteria:

Essential:

  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • WA Construction White card
  • a valid HR driver’s licence (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrate experience working in the civil construction industry - minimum 2 years.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform duties maintaining high standards in both safety and quality. 
  • A valid RIW card would be advantageous, but not essential.

As part of the recruitment process, suitable applicants will be required to complete pre-employment medical testing, drug & alcohol screening, and criminal history check.
