About the role

We are seeking an innovative constructability engineer with a problem-solving attitude to join our forward-thinking managed services team in Melbourne. In this role, you will leverage advanced technologies, tools, and processes to drive constructability assessment and  optimisation across multiple high-stake projects. Your expertise will be critical in guiding project leaders toward data-driven decisions that enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Implementation of cutting-edge services in constructability assessment and optimisation.
  • Utilise your problem-solving skills to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop effective solutions that enhance project delivery.
  • Provide strategic insights and feedback to continually improve service delivery and project performance.
  • Collaborate with and support the leadership team by working autonomously on assigned tasks, ensuring that the constructability function integrates seamlessly with broader project management efforts.

About you

  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in infrastructure projects.
  • 3+ years of hands-on site planning experience, including roles on major infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering or a related field;
  • Expert proficiency with Oracle P6 software and other project management tools.
  • In-depth understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles.
  • A proven track record of identifying problems, developing solutions, and driving implementation to achieve project goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new innovative technologies and software.
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
