About the role

We are currently seeking a Senior Strategy and Transformation Analyst to be based in our North Sydney head office.

This role plays a crucial part in supporting the strategic direction of the organization. This position is responsible for assisting in discussions regarding the company's mission, vision, and strategy, developing comprehensive models and strategy documents, and analysing data to draw conclusions about social, technological, economic, and political developments that impact the company.

The Senior Strategy and Transformation Analyst collaborates closely with various departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives, ultimately contributing to the organisation's sustainable growth and innovation.


Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of corporate strategy by applying analytical skills and contributing creative ideas to support the strategy formation process.
  • Help develop and refine strategies that drive business growth, competitive advantage, and profit growth, ensuring the organisation remains ahead of market trends and competitors.
  • Support the development and delivery of the strategic planning approach for a key part of the organization, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives.
  • Analyse and interpret data and documents to draw conclusions about social, technological, economic, and political developments and their consequences for the company.
  • Provide support in the delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring that projects are executed effectively and align with the overall strategic goals of the organization.
  • Monitor the performance of strategic initiatives, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress and make necessary adjustments.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employees to identify and implement ways to enhance processes and achieve better outcomes.


About you

  • Approximately 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in a combination of management consulting and corporate in-house strategy.
  • Experience in Construction or Engineering preferred; alternatively industrial goods experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field. An MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in analysing complex data and drawing meaningful insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in identifying and managing risks associated with strategic initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of the construction industry and market trends.
