About the role

We are currently seeking a Senior Workshop Administrator to join Select Plant Australia based in Seven Hills, NSW. This permanent role offers great career prospects with one of the largest specialist plant hire businesses in Australia.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Provide Senior Administrative support to the Select Workshop and team members
  • Provide training and support to Workshop Administrators and ensure applicable organisational policies and procedures are understood and adhered to
  • Manage and coordinate Workshop Recharge Jobcards including Damage & Loss, Fitter Site Support, Rechargeable works in accordance with Select's Standard Arrangements for Hire
  • Manage Operations Team purchase requirements in accordance with organisational process
  • Monitor RIW portal and provide training and support to Workshop Administrators relating to processing of RIW Card renewals, registrations for Operations, Hire Controllers and Site Solutions staff
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure wages employee details within Business Database are current and provide training and support to Workshop Administrators where required
  • Monitor weekly labour allocations, ensuring these are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with procedure, providing training and support to Workshop Administrators where required
  • Monitor Workshop Registered Invoices, Purchase Order's, Jobcards and Aged Debtors and provide detailed updates to the Administration Lead as/when required)
  • Manage Workshop Admin leave coverage in consultation with Workshop Managers
  • Provide additional Administration duties in addition to key responsibilities as/when directed by Workshop Manager or Administration Lead.

  • Ensure the company’s HSE standards are understood and upheld at your workplace.
  • Proactively deal with HSE and concerns, by engaging with the people performing the task or activity.
  • Foster a culture of respect for the environment and communities in which we work to minimise impacts.
  • Further responsibilities for health and safety, environment and rail safety as specified in the relevant project specific management plans.

 

About you

  • Understanding of the Security of Payments Act in relation to the payment of suppliers in the construction sector
  • Proven experience working in a fast paced, demanding environment with a proactive adaptable attitude.
  • The ability to provide guidance on planning, organising, prioritising, and overseeing activities to efficiently meet requirements, whilst interpreting and understanding business process and procedures
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and resolve complex issues
  • Proven ability to manage own and direct report workloads
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate understanding and respect, ensuring sustainable working relationships are generated and maintained.
