Laing O’Rourke, with joint venture partner Amentum Australia, will play a central role in supporting Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) to develop and deliver the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard (NPSCY) project at Osborne, South Australia. We will provide program and construction management services of nuclear related civil infrastructure, site‑wide nuclear licensee development expertise, and nuclear safety leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to drive the delivery of innovative, effective, and efficient planning solutions that align with industry best practices. 
  • Ensure the identification and management of critical project milestones, production outputs, and resource requirements to support proactive project management and successful delivery. 
  • Lead forensic planning efforts by conducting detailed analyses of project delays, disruptions, and acceleration to support claims management.
  • Provide expert input and reports to substantiate claims, ensuring thorough documentation and alignment with contractual obligations. 
  • Collaborate with legal and project teams to prepare, analyze, and resolve extension of time (EOT) claims and other contractual claims

About You

  • Solid experience in Project Planning & Scheduling on large-scale construction projects.
  • Existing knowledge of construction techniques, methodologies, and processes
  • Strong leadership skills with prior exposure managing a team would be highly beneficial.
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
