About the role

We are currently seeking a Project Manager - Utilities for Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of utility works, ensuring safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives are achieved.
  • Manage utility authorities, asset owners, contractors and project stakeholders throughout project delivery.
  • Oversee utility relocations, installations, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
  • Manage project budgets, contracts, risks and subcontractors to drive successful outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

About you

  • Proven experience delivering utilities packages on major infrastructure, civil, transport or rail projects.
  • Strong knowledge of utility relocations, service installations, commissioning and network interfaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with utility providers and key stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, commercial acumen and problem-solving skills within complex project environments.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
