About the role

We are currently seeking Design Managers for Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. These roles offer great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure designs are in accordance with Safety in Design procedures.
• Establish and manage working relationships with Hub Engineering Management team, Project Engineers, and Design Managers.
• Agree scope, priorities, schedule and deliverables with Line Manager prior to proceeding. Control time and monitor progress.
• Efficient planning and execution of works.
• Provide good quality, valuable, reliable, trustworthy and timely project technical support.

About you

• A minimum of two years’ design engineering project experience. An understanding of design codes, specifications, providing technical direction, issue resolution, providing quality assurance, producing reports.
• Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical/Geotechnical)
• Experience in Civils, Stations and/or Tunnels essential
