Laing O’Rourke, with joint venture partner Amentum Australia, will play a central role in supporting Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) to develop and deliver the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard (NPSCY) project at Osborne, South Australia. We will provide program and construction management services of nuclear related civil infrastructure, site‑wide nuclear licensee development expertise, and nuclear safety leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive performance, margin and risk management.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, cost control and reporting.
  • Manage commercial risk, change, claims, disputes and contract compliance.
  • Build strong client, stakeholder and supply chain relationships.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing commercial team.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement across project delivery.

About you

  • Attained or working towards obtaining MRICS.
  • Minimum 10 years’ post graduate experience in commercial within the construction industry.
  • Construction Management, Building, Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Microsoft software especially Excel.
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
